Marketing Association of Capilano Students

MACS is the Marketing Association of Capilano Students.   

The association was created with the goal of giving the vast number of marketing students an opportunity to gain some relevant experience in a number of areas in marketing and to assist CBUS and the other association with some of their marketing needs.

As any marketing student can tell you, marketing is a very broad term and encompasses a number of different fields.  Therefore over the first part of this spring term the association will be progressing through its planning stage. The first area of focus in MACS is event marketing; where we are currently planning one event for this term. 

We encourage those students who are truly passionate about marketing, and feels that they have something offer this association, to send us and email telling us why you’d like to get involved. 

In addition, MACS is registered with the American Marketing Association’s BC chapter.  This will allow members to be actively involved marketing events outside the school, access to a number of job postings, and the potential to compete in marketing competitions with other BC business schools.
